Cuts to Windsor homelessness programmes wrong approach: Coteau

NORTH YORK—Michael Coteau, Liberal MPP for Don Valley East, released the following statement following news the Ford provincial government was delaying a promised $537,000 for Windsor homeless programmes:

"How can municipalities build plans when Ford’s government is so unpredictable and unstable?" Coteau charged. "This is why so many regions feel left out of decision making at Queen’s Park.

"We need to ensure Ontario is the best place for children and families, and senseless cuts to homelessness programmes in Windsor will only end up costing more in the long run," Coteau concluded.
