OTTAWA — Michael Coteau, the third-term Liberal MPP, released the following statement on Premier Doug Ford's cabinet shuffle:
"People know this is a failed government. Adding more seats and changing a few faces is simply admission of that failure. The agenda has not changed: they still have a plan to make cuts to children and families.
GANANOQUE — Michael Coteau—the third-term Liberal MPP and former Ontario Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport, and of Children and Youth Services—joined Gananoque Mayor Ted Lojko and Councillor Mike Kench to call on town council to rescind a section of municipal by-law 2015-070, which bans road hockey.

HAMILTON — Michael Coteau, the third-term Liberal MPP, visited Hamilton on the second day of his campaign seeking the leadership of the Ontario Liberal Party to replace Doug Ford as Premier.
Coteau attended the LGBTQ Advisory Committee of Hamilton’s community update to show solidarity with the LGBTQ community following what he labelled “disgusting acts that took place against Pride participants: an attack on one group’s human rights is an attack on all human rights. We need to stand together and call out hate and discrimination.”
